Nette Gaastra is a talented designer with over eight years of professional experience working for a diverse variety of clients in art, fashion, retail and consumer products and many cause related organizations.

For nearly seven years Nette has been the Design Director at The Abelson Company in New York and has been instrumental in creating the work selected here. She has a wide repertoire of capabilities and skills – from conceptual design development to hands-on execution in various media. Clients include The Metropolitan Museum of Art,  New York Philharmonic, Royal Shakespeare Company, Physicians for Human Rights, Women for Women International, Guttmacher Institute, Newskies Satellites, CIT, IBA and Food Network.

Originally from The Netherlands, Nette started her career interning with Irma Boom and Marjo Starink, both in Amsterdam, Whitehouse & Company in New York and has worked for Philips Design in Eindhoven.

Nette holds a Bachelors Degree from The Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
